Basically, a crazy and evil General called Morden wants to take his army all over the globe in order to take it over. Metal Slug: Super Vehicle-001 has more story than you would think and certainly more story than other arcade run and gun shooters of the day had. Stop The Metal Slug!įor a game that was originally released as an arcade game all the way back in 1996. It is kind of nuts to think that this game is the better part of 30 years old! It is a testament to how good it is that you can play it today and it is still a great time.

Anyway, if there is one series of games that goes hand in hand with Neo Geo it is Metal Slug. Do you get much more classic than Metal Slug: Super Vehicle-001? That is right the original Metal Slug actually has that subtitle after it.
